Ever wondered how berries, sunflowers, and all the beautiful things in the world grow? Get your hands dirty this February 17, 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM at the LEAF Center. Help us plant strawberries, blackberries, sunflowers, green beans, and celery. If we have extra volunteers, we’ll also take on additional tasks like harvesting fava beans for donation to the food bank, weeding the garden, and turning compost piles.
This event is open to high school students and volunteers of all ages. If you need service hours, bring your forms!
Remember to:
Complete LEAF’s volunteer agreement form if this is your first time volunteering with us.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring water.
We have two locations- make sure you're heading to the LEAF Center at 36501 Niles Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536, not the LEAF Urban Garden.
We look forward to seeing you!
